Yurigahama Beach off Okaneku Coast is an elusive sandy beach that appears only during low tide between the half tide and spring tide from spring to summer every year. The scenery, created by the white sandy beach and crystal-clear water, is exquisitely picturesque.

A beautiful beach called Minata-hanare that enjoys a view of small islands can be crossed on foot at low tide. The water is crystal-clear, and the spot is popular for various water sports such as SUP and sea kayaking.

The restaurant in Hote Yoron’s village is where you can enjoy a menu unique to the island, including dishes made with local ingredients, the regional specialty chicken rice, and Yoron’s famous moringa noodles.

The site with the remains of a natural three-tiered cliff and a connecting 500-meter stonewall marks the place where Ryukyu’s King of Hokuzan had built a castle. The Yoron Jugoya Odori held three times a year on-site is an important intangible folk cultural property.
