4-day/3-night journey from Amami Oshima to Yakushima

You can bring your own t-shirt and handkerchief to try mud and indigo dyeing. You do not have to bring anything, of course. (*Booking is essential)
The restaurant serves Amami’s regional dishes and a large selection of brown sugar shochu. The Shimauta Course is recommended if you want to dine while listening to island songs.

A”Line Ferry’s inbound service offers the Yakushima Port stopover service, which allows passengers to go directly from Amami Oshima to Yakushima.

This is a popular spot for seeing the primaeval forest, including Yakusugi cedars, over 1,000 years old. It is suitable for even mountaineering beginners.

The waterfall has a 60-metre drop. Rainfall increases the volume of water in the waterfall, allowing you to see its violent cascade.
Visitors can try their hand at making chopsticks from Yakusugi cedar using a chisel. The place also manufactures and sells Yakusugi handicrafts directly to the public.
The souvenir shop features a collection of Yakushima’s finest products. The attractive range of products includes snacks, seafood, mountain produce and handicrafts.
