Exploring a new style of cruising on the Amami route

The Queen Coral Cross was commissioned in 2021, replacing Queen Coral 8, which had been in service for 22 years. As you board the ship, the blue vaulted staircase catches your eye. The open-plan lobby offers a wide range of communal spaces. Power sockets are provided near the tables for passenger gatherings as well as for working on computers. Compared to conventional ferries, it offers more privacy, with additional private cabins and sleeping berths, including Second-Class cabins with partitioned sections and private cabins with shower cubicles that can be locked.
Another unique feature of the vessel is the viewing seats on the bow. It allows passengers to enjoy the view ahead from their comfortable seats and also enjoy sights they would not normally be able to see up close, such as the impressive scene of the vessel entering port and the loading and unloading of containers at the derrick.
